Sarah Anderson currently serves as Human Resources Business Partner II for Fifth Third Bank’s Florida Retail division, which entails 1500 employees in 183 banking centers. In this role, Sarah works closely with Fifth Third’s retail senior leadership and human capital teams on strategic and tactical human capital initiatives that support consulting, coaching, organizational development, change management, workforce planning, talent management, total rewards and employee relations.
Sarah brings over 25 years of experience in the human resources profession and started at the Bank in 2017. She has served as Director of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition Manager, Sr. Recruiter and Human Resources Manager for many years in the hospitality industry supporting large organizations like Walt Disney World and Starbucks. Sarah is extremely engaged and has a passion for diversity and inclusion and career development, She is past recipient of Fifth Third’s Pinnacle Award, which recognizes leaders.
Sarah holds two communications certificates from Spokane Community College. She is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and is SHRM-SCP certified for HR professionals at a senior level who operate primarily in a strategic role.
Sarah is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management, HR Orlando. She has been instrumental in creating structure, awareness and growth for the Fifth Third Florida Diversity and Inclusion Business Resource Groups.
