Jeffrey A. Olson is the President and Co-Founder of the PRIDE at Carrier Employee Resource Group. In his role with the other board members, he has helped to expand the Employee Resource Group from two members to over 150, including chapters in Monterrey, Mexico and Europe.
Jeffrey has been active in the LGBTQIA+ community for over 20 years and enjoys participating in PRIDE events, as well as community fundraisers. Jeffrey assisted in training the Charlotte County Pride/Peace River Pride ARAY Board by coaching how to fundraise and properly address the audience in order to achieve the best possible donation.
Jeffrey is passionate about ensuring a fair and inclusive workplace where everyone can express their voices and be their true self. Jeffrey is hoping to transition to a full time D&I leadership role after completing his BS.
Jeffrey is currently enrolled in Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in the Business School for a Technical Management BS with a Minor in Human Resources.
Jeffrey also enjoys working to assist homeless veterans and youth through time volunteering and advocating.
Jeffrey’s current role with Carrier is a Technical Support Specialist for Edwards and Kidde Life Safety Equipment. He has been in the low voltage industry for almost 30 years, beginning his career in the Marine Corps working on F/A-18 aircraft electronics.
