Christina Bottomley

VP Real Estate & Industrial Development

Christina Bottomley joined CSX’s industrial development group when it combined with its real estate group in February 2023. Previously, she led CSX’s real estate group since September 2020. She is responsible for all aspects of CSX’s industrial development and real estate, including identifying new customer growth opportunities, developing new rail-served customer facilities and acquiring, selling and leasing property. Previously, Ms. Bottomley oversaw capital planning for the entire company, which included identifying and vetting capital projects to support current objectives and future growth. She has also held various roles in Accounting and Internal Audit at CSX.

Ms. Bottomley brings nearly 20 years of transaction, real estate and finance experience to CSX. Prior to this role, Ms. Bottomley was the Chief Accounting Officer for Forward Air, a publicly traded trucking company in East Tennessee, where she was responsible for accounting, tax, planning and forecasting, investor relations, treasury and acquisitions and dispositions. Ms. Bottomley started her career in consulting at PwC in Boston and KPMG in Jacksonville before going into industry at a Regency Centers, a public real estate investment trust (REIT) in Jacksonville.

Ms. Bottomley received an undergraduate and master’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida. She is a licensed CPA in the state of Florida. Ms. Bottomley resides in Jacksonville with her husband, Barret, two children, Wyatt (6) and Vivian (3) and standard poodle, Brantley.
