The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce is the first Chamber in the state of Florida and one of the first in the nation to recognize the LGBT community as a major component of their membership. The contributions of the gay and lesbian business community are a driving force in the local economy and we see it a natural fit to be part of this coalition.

 

Dan Lindblade, CAE, has over 20 years of organizational management experience on the national, state and local levels. He is in charge of all internal and external operations for The Chamber, leading the executive management team from locations in Fort Lauderdale and Weston, FL. He lobbies on behalf of business issues and is the spokesman for the organization. Dan has held positions of CEO, executive vice president, Director of Government Affairs and Public Relations at organizations in Madison, WI, Orlando, Albuquerque, Fort Lauderdale, and Lexington, KY. He is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and was graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a BA in Journalism.
