Yosbel A. Ibarra is co-managing shareholder of the Miami office of Greenberg Traurig, P.A and previously served as co-chair of the firm’s Latin America Practice, which has been recognized as an industry leader by Chambers & Partners and other publications. Fluent in Spanish, Ibarra has spent his career as a corporate lawyer advising clients doing business in Latin America, including prominent Latin American groups on their investments, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures throughout Latin America, the United States and Spain. Admitted to practice in both New York and Florida, Ibarra has led several important cross-border M&A transactions, as well as joint ventures and infrastructure projects, including public-private partnerships.

 

Committed to giving back to the South Florida community, Ibarra is a Member of the Board of Directors of Amigos for Kids and a graduate of Leadership Florida. He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the Council of the Americas and a member of The American Bar Association; the Florida Bar, International Law Section; and the International Bar Association.
