Jared Bolton is the Director of Campus Recruitment but also wears the hat of Diversity and Inclusion Specialist for Northwestern Mutual Greater Tampa Bay. NMGTB strives toward creating financial security in the Greater Tampa Bay area represented by our 5 offices located in Westshore, New Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg and Sarasota. As Director of Campus Recruitment, Jared is responsible for day to day operations within Northwestern Mutual’s top 10 internship program such as recruiting, campus engagement, and facilitation of elements of training and on-boarding. As the Diversity and Inclusion leader in the firm, Jared oversees the creation, implementation, and management of NMGTB’s Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Plan. He also serves as the chair of the D&I Council and adviser to the several identity based affinity groups within the firm. His overall goal with diversity and inclusion for the firm is to create a culture of respect, understanding and inclusivity where authenticity thrives. This will then extend to our business practices as well creating cultural literacy and understanding through training for Financial Advisors as they work with diverse people in the community to better understand their unique financial planning needs.
