Darren J. Morse is a Senior Manager at Strategic Property Partners, LLC (SPP) where he is a part of the Master Planning team focused on public spaces, parks, and infrastructure.  The firm, which was founded as a partnership between Cascade Investment, LLC and Jeff Vinik in 2014, is based in Tampa, Florida, where it is currently executing its first project, Water Street Tampa.

Water Street Tampa is a new mixed-use neighborhood located on an underutilized 50+ acre tract of land along the waterfront in downtown Tampa.   The first phase of the project is under construction, and at full buildout will include over 9 million square feet of new commercial, residential, hospitality, cultural, entertainment, education, and retail uses, totaling over $3 billion in private investment.

SPP strives to create an inclusive workplace that celebrates diversity of thought and background by breaking barriers and championing differences. Prior to joining SPP, Darren was a Project Manager with Kitson & Partners, a master-planned community developer based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.  Darren held numerous roles at the firm across finance, acquisitions, and development.

 

Darren is a member of the Urban Land Institute previously serving as the Palm Beach County Young Leaders Chair and as part of the Tampa Programs Committee.  Darren and his partner reside in Hyde Park where they enjoy the historic yet vibrant neighborhood.  In his free time, Darren enjoys exercise, travel, socializing, and Tampa’s food scene.
