Crystal Warwell Walker is Vice President of Corporate Responsibility, Diversity and Inclusion for WellCare Health Plans, a FORTUNE 200 company dedicated to providing government-sponsored managed care services to families, children, seniors and those with complex medical needs primarily through Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. She is responsible for leading cross-functional alignment and execution on strategy and practices that put the company’s mission to serve its 5.5 million members, 12,000 associates, and communities across the nation at the center of its strategy to drive sustainable, long-term growth and profitability. Key to this is a day-to-day focus on enabling a culture that values differences where everyone can contribute to their fullest potential. Crystal brings nearly 25 years of corporate, crisis, financial and digital communications; public, media, community and government relations; branding and training experience in both highly-matrixed and entrepreneurial environments to this role. Her career includes tenures in consumer packaged goods, energy, technology, business-to-business, not-for-profit and journalism. Crystal serves on the advisory board of Empower Her Network, an organization that collaborates with ready survivors of human trafficking to remove housing barriers, finance education, and uncover employment opportunities. She is also on the Board of Trustees for Corbett Preparatory School of IDS. Crystal has a master’s in public relations from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s in magazine journalism from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. She, her husband and two young children reside in Tampa, Florida.
